Revising my review. Initially I thought they weren't working and didn't fit well but apparently I didn't have them plugged in properly. When inserting into the USB port, there's 1mm left where you have to force it until until it clicks. Once in, it works as described. Other critical reviews seemed to have the same issue that I initially did, and perhaps didn't try again. For the price, you can't beat them for USB2.0 speeds. Highly recommend.

The adaptors are very tight at the usb end and loose on the usb c end. They are too wide so two cannot be installed side by side. Quality is not as expected. One is tight one is loose. Just watch your external hard drives drop off and lose data. Pity

For the price, really worth it. It isn't a high quality material but it works perfectly fine. Also keep in mind that the 2 macbook pro ports are way to close to each other, so even tho this adapter is very small, you can't use 2 converter side by side in the macbook pro.

For the price I can't complain. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because I do not think they are Usb 3 capable.

Update: They are definitely not USB 3. In a pinch they would be ok but cannot be used for high transfer rates.

This is an amazing product to have for laptops that come with USB-C ports. I got a new MacBook pro and all the ports are USB-c and having this product lets me connect all my old USB devices to my MacBook might be to compromise on the speed but it is no unnoticeable

Great price. All work and nice materials. Quick delivery.

Only criticism is

It would be better if you could use 2 side by side on MacBooks

Works very well, just as you'd expect it to. No issues with it so far. I use it primarily for its card readers. When you're using an external hard drive with it, you have to be careful when you're unplugging the hard drive not pull the whole hub out as the usb ports on it are tight. Also the colour doesn't match up 100% to that of the MacBook but it is very close and the difference isn't noticeable in most lighting conditions. All in all a very usful device.

Bought this hoping to reduced what I had to plug in and out every day but the inability of the hub to pass through power over USB C or connect to my USB C monitor makes it basically useless. I haven't tested whether or not the USB, SD, or HDMI ports work but I will update that if and when I bother to ever plug it in again.

Overall a disappointing waste of money.
